A MESSAGE FROM THE GLOW TEAM ON DISINFECTING PROCEDURES

 

Dear Valued Client,

We sincerely appreciate your support of Glow Sauna Studios!  We want to update you on the measures we have taken amid concerns around coronavirus (COVID-19).

We continue to closely monitor updates from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) along with guidance from local and U.S. government and public health agencies.

As part of our SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), we utilize the following:

  1. Industry-leading Ultraviolet (UV) disinfecting technology by Purify-One, clinically proven to disinfect and eliminate up to 99.9% of germs, bacteria, and viruses
  2. Hospital-grade disinfectant to clean and disinfect our studio daily
  3. All of our towels are washed with hot water, along with a mixture of both germicidal bleach and soap
  4. Advanced air filtration systems in all Cabins

Thankfully, infrared light waves (which all our saunas are equipped with) have tremendous germicidal properties.  By way of example, infrared light has been shown to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.

Here is how you can help us:

  1. We continue to respectfully ask that if you are sick or believe you have been exposed to someone who is ill, you do not come into the studio for the safety or our staff and other customers
  2. Please show up on time for your session, and exit the room promptly so we have adequate time to properly disinfect it for the next customer (we want to limit the amount of people in the studio at all times, so we ask if you are waiting for a session you do so outside the space)
  3. Please discard your used towels directly in the towel drop for the safety of our staff, this will also allow us to more efficiently disinfect the units

To summarize a few of the benefits of infrared:

  1. Raises the body's core temperature to create a false fever
  2. Stimulates immune function and makes the body less habitable for pathogens to fight off viruses
  3. Stimulates white blood cells and increases antibodies against germs by increasing cellular energy
  4. A build-up of toxins can lead to a host of common illnesses. Ridding the body of these toxic substances helps to relieve symptoms and overall health ecosystem

In addition to our enhanced disinfecting procedures, we are also providing our team members more information on how to stay healthy and reiterating our policy that they must stay home if they are not feeling well.  We respectfully request that if you are also not feeling well, please reschedule your session for when you are feeling better, for the safety of our team and other clients.

Based on the guidance from the various health agencies and our focus on having a clean and sanitized studio, we are confident that our studio is safe, and we look forward to providing you with the best experience possible!
